We heard this was the best place for Mexican food so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. I had the menudo and it was flavorful and I loved that it was not greasy. My husband had the chorizo plate with beans and it was amazing.
This is one of my family's favorite placed to go have a sit down meal for Mexican food in Paso. The food is always taste amazing and portions are great, I overindulged and ordered a taco on the side, but the taco salad would of filled me plenty. The service was great. We were meeting my family there and got there a bit before and the hostess sat us got us chips and salsa(make sure to ask for the hot salsa if you like spicy salsas) and got us drinks. The atmosphere is nice the aesthetic is perfect with lots of pictures and art, furniture that show Mexican culture.
Moved away four years ago and missed this place so much it was my first stop after checking in at the hotel. The combo platter (chicken) has always been a family favorite. Easily feeds up to 6 people and so delicious. Sal never lets us down.
Still delicious after all these years! Service is exceptional, great location. Ordered takeout and everything I needed from extra salsa to cutlery was provided without asking. I definitely recommend La Mexicana!
Came in here because was walking by and the smell from outside was so inviting. Staff was really nice, and helped me pick out some good food. Place was clean and well organized, and had lots of cool visuals on the walls. Food was amazing, really good burrito, and portions are very generous. Definitely recommend this place, and will probably be back next time im in town
For the amount I paid for the good it was great, but it was cold. The aquarium de Jamica is from a machine which makes it very sugary. They don't have a side menu if you have a child who likes certain foods.
Great place to eat authentic Mexican food. Huge servings and friendly staff. You must try their fajitas and their tacos. The place was understaffed. They took too long to get out orders and get out lots check.
